Nerea Alberdi is a composer, orchestrator and arranger who works mainly in the field of music for picture. Graduated in Film Scoring by Berklee College of Music, has assisted the prestigious composer Lucio Godoy as a composer and orchestrator, and worked on his own for movies, television, performing arts, advertising and studio arrangements.

Her most recent works (late 2017-2018) include the TV series Velvet Collection, the feature film Cuando Dejes de Quererme, the mid-length film Winter for the Guggenheim Museum, the Mapping 3D Show Jalpa, the orchestral arrangements for the new show of the rapper Ane Guria, and several short films.

Following the path of composers such as Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinsky, Alex North, Miklos Rozsa, Bernard Herrmann, Nino Rota, John Williams or Alberto Iglesias, of arrangers such as Nelson Riddle or Claus Ogerman, of the big names of soul, rhythm’n ‘ blues and early jazz, Nerea Alberdi has developed an own eclectic voice, presenting, however, a certain weakness for the music of the Classical Cinema and later movies of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
